“Why the Little Elephant Has a Long Trunk” — Budaku Puppet Theatre. A Theatrical Programme at Yusupov Palace and the First Wing

Fairy tales have returned to Yusupov Palace! This time, they will be brought to life by actors and their puppets in the historic building of the First Wing.
On November 8, children aged 5 and over will be introduced to the wonderful art of shadow puppetry. They will discover a fascinating story about curiosity and what can happen when you encounter a crocodile!
Our young guests and their parents will not only enjoy the fairy tale but will also have the opportunity to make their own shadow puppets and even take part in the performance.
The show will be accompanied by live music, featuring the flute, xylophone and tambourine, as well as the exotic sounds of the African djembe drum and the ocarina — after all, the story takes us to distant and mysterious Africa.
At the very beginning of the programme, guests will be treated to a special surprise: a short tour through the historic interiors of Yusupov Palace, including a visit to the Home Theater, where the theatrical history of the princely residence began.
Entrance to the event: 21 Dekabristov Street, 30 minutes before the programme begins.
