Ticket Refund Rules
Terms and definitions:
- Institution
- Cultural Institution “St. Petersburg Palace of Culture for Educators”.
- Event
- a theatrical or entertainment event held by the Institution.
- Institution website

- Tickets
- electronic tickets purchased on the Institution website or paper tickets purchased at the Institution ticket office.
- Tickets for events held by the Institution are refunded in accordance with Article 52.1 of the Law of the Russian Federation No. 3612-1 of October 9, 1992 “Fundamentals of the Legislation of the Russian Federation on Culture” and the Rules approved by Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1491 of September 18, 2020.
- If a visitor refuses to attend an event for reasons unrelated to the circumstances specified in clauses 9-10 of these Rules, tickets are refunded as follows:
- not later than ten days before the event date: 100 percent of the ticket price may be refunded;
- less than ten days but not later than five days before the event date: at least 50 percent of the ticket price may be refunded;
- less than five days but not later than three days before the event date: at least 30 percent of the ticket price may be refunded;
- less than three days before the event date: the Institution may refuse to refund the ticket price.
- An electronic ticket is refunded by completing the electronic ticket refund form. When an electronic ticket is purchased, an order is created and a link to it is sent to the buyer's email address. The order contains a “Refund ticket” button. In other cases, including illness of the viewer or death of a family member or close relative, the completed refund application must be sent to bs@yusupov-palace.ru.
- Tickets purchased at the Institution ticket office are refunded directly at the ticket office during its opening hours. To refund a ticket, the visitor must provide the Institution with the original ticket and fiscal receipt, a completed refund application, an identity document, and the bank card used for payment if the ticket was paid for by card at the ticket office.
- Tickets purchased from authorized agents are refunded only through the authorized agents from whom they were purchased.
- Tickets are not refunded if a physical person submits for refund a ticket paid for by a legal entity by bank transfer or by another physical person who is not the applicant.
- Returned tickets are made available for sale at the Institution ticket office.
- Funds are refunded in the amount equal to the ticket price shown on the fiscal receipt.
- If a visitor refuses to attend due to documented illness or death of a family member or close relative, the refund is made in accordance with the current legislation and the rules approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
- If an event is cancelled, replaced, or postponed by the Institution, refunds are made in the manner and within the time limits established by law.
