“Time of Revival”: Guided Tours with an Adviser to the Director of Yusupov Palace

This October, Yusupov Palace will once again host “Time of Revival”, a series of special guided tours dedicated to the history of the restoration of the Yusupov family estate on the Moika River.
The Yusupov estate ensemble took its final shape almost 200 years ago. Following nationalisation, the palace served for a time as a museum of aristocratic life before becoming home to the Teachers' House. Generations of Leningrad educators helped preserve the palace's unique historic interiors.
Restoration work continues to this day. Over the past ten years alone, more than 20 interiors have been restored to their historically authentic appearance.
The tours are led by Natalia Ivanovna Pankrashkina, Adviser to the Director of Yusupov Palace. Guests will learn about the creation and restoration of the palace interiors and see the results of many years of painstaking conservation and restoration work.
