The motto of the Art-Most-Aquarelle Biennale 2021

Creativity, like everything truly valuable in our life, is stimulated by a powerful impulse of the forces of love and nature. Prominences of passion, despair, delight, sympathy and devotion - these flashes of natural forces are softened in the delicate watercolor worlds of artists devoted to the fluid watery nature of this technique.

The exhibition project "Art - Bridge - Aquarelle" is a symbolic bridge between watercolors of St. Petersburg, other cities of Russia and artists of foreign countries. This format, traditional for society (the author of the idea and curator Yuri Shevchik, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia), from year to year attracts the attention of a wide circle of connoisseurs of watercolors.

For many watercolors, contacts with St. Petersburg have become a tradition. In the hall of the Konyushenny Wing you can see watercolors by novice artists and such famous masters as Yuri Shevchik, Latif Kazbekov, Elena Bazanova, Oleg Yakhnin, Sergey Temerev, Konstantin Sterkhov. Lyusya Kovaleva-Kondurova. As always, the exposition and the voluminous catalog, which is published for the opening of the exhibition, includes a Retro section from private collections.
