The most important holidays for the city dwellers remain the Day of Lifting of the Blockade of Leningrad on January, 27 and the Victory Day on May, 9. These days the veterans traditionally gather in the Yusupov palace. Charity concerts in White Column Hall and Palace Theatre as well as the tours of the fascinating interiors of the princely house become a good gift for the holiday.

"Family friends" – those who frequently visit the palace and assist it, got used to gather here in the Yusupov  Palace on the Moika embankment for celebrating Christmas, Easter, New Year, Pancake Week holidays.

The New Year Ball conducted by Maestro Y.Temirkanov, closing annual musical festival «Arts Square», traditionally becomes one of the brightest events of the end of the year. The final concert of the festival in the Palace Theatre, walk through excellent halls,  New Year dinner at candles, dances and entertainment through the night make this ball  a real highlight of the social life of Saint Petersburg.

Christmas - a family holiday, expectation of magic and miracles. This evening the visitors of the palace are welcome by the "angels" - children in Christmas fancy dresses. Church chants and music are heard in the halls and drawing rooms, and scenes of the “most Christmas” performance – the "Nutcracker" ballet - are on the stage of the Palace Theatre.

Pancake week - a holiday for everybody. There were the Pancake Week festivities in Russia  both in the streets and in the palaces. Traditional Pancake Ball-Masquerade in the Yusupov Palace starts with a cheerful performance in the Main Court Yard with Russian fare and entertainment. After returning to the drawing rooms and halls, the guests enjoy the atmosphere of  the aristocratic festival with dances, music, theatre performance and gala dinner.

Easter Party on Holy Sunday in the Yusupov Palace is permeated with hope and heat as in old times. This day all Orthodox people become more close to each other united by the common joy. During these days of the Holy Week the concerts and  musical evenings joined by the idea of the rebirth of spiritual and cultural values are hold in the palace.
